Design Exploration
At Renner Architects we employ 3D construction modeling techniques to explore design options
at almost every step in the design process.
Accurate Concepts
We input the actual building materials into the computer to see how they will look, i.e. the actual brick, carpet, or wood sample are identical to the final construction.

Cost Estimating & Scheduling
Every project requires a plan, budget and schedule.
We do not put our clients in a position where they have to make a decision without knowing the cost impact, i.e. when we present plans we also present a corresponding budget and bar chart schedule.
The method we employ when compiling cost estimates at Renner Architects consists of breaking down the entire project to a very high level of detail and utilizing intricate spreadsheets to determine
the total cost.
Again, we have an unmatched track record in being able to predict the total construction costs on
a project, i.e. there has not been any project where we were not within 5%.
Simulations
At Renner Architects we can create any kind of illustration of your project including DVD’s with fly thrus that simulate you either walking through the project or driving by the project. It is a great sales tool to help promote your project to potential buyers or tenants.
Overall Methodology
The methodology we employ at Renner Architects is to design, utilizing 3D CAD, illustrate,
and accurately cost estimate options, and present them to our clients so they can make
informed decisions.

This is the conversion of an existing round office building into condominiums that Renner Architects is working on in Madison, WI and these are three optional look and image concepts that we explored as well as the final version. |
Philosophy
Unlike other architectural firms, we have no hidden desire to have our clients’ project appear
on the cover of an architectural magazine. At Renner Architects we feel better if the project
we designed satisfies your needs, which includes the idea of you making money in the long run.
3D Modeling
The employment of 3D modeling techniques allows all members of the construction team to visualize and correct construction problems before they occur.
The 3D construction modeling technique that Renner Architects employs for every building takes
all the guess work out of the project.

Renner Architects typically likes to pin down key components on a project before completing
the detailed drawings so that costs are controlled and the components are properly detailed
into the drawings.
